On April 5, 2011, the Young Trade Unionists held their general meeting and We Are One Event. We were joined by Baltimore City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke and Maryland & DC State Federation President Fred Mason. There were over a hundred people in attendance while we watched the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. speech On The Mountain Top. April 5, 2011 was also proclaimed We Are One Day in Baltimore City by Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. This was a great day of solidarity and we look forward to seeing everyone at our next general meeting May 3, 2011 @ 7pm. The location is 2701 W. Patapsco Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230.
